Be a rider of the Nation!– Join MXM Nation at www.mxmnation.com
Waterloo, Ontario, August 10, 2009. MX Mechanics is an amateur support race team designed to help amateur racers and their families, giving them a factory-like sponsorship advantage and a competitive edge only associated with professional factory riders. MX Mechanics is pleased to announce the launch of Canada’s first national sponsorship portal call MXM Nation whereby every rider that joins is sponsored.
“We have spent the last 4 years building the MX Mechanics brand with considerable interest to scale across the country” states Gary Bartholomew, Team Owner. “As a response to this we have decided to launch a sponsorship portal that allows any rider to be a Rider of the Nation, receiving huge discounts on sponsor product, as well as giving them the opportunity to promote themselves’ and build their visibility within the industry”.
Become a Rider of the Nation
MXM Nation will officially announce the portal at the 2009 Walton TransCan and offering pre-registration for 2010. For a small annual fee, every Rider of the Nation will receive a sticker kit for their bike (shroud and rear fender) and automatically receive Level I Sponsorship, entitling every rider to discounts on Sponsor product.
The Riders of the Nation will then promote themselves within the portal and the more content the rider provides, the more points they earn. As the Riders of Nation accumulates points they move through the sponsorship levels, receiving deeper discounts and more promotion opportunities.
Top level sponsorship will include 2 riders from each of the CMRC districts in Canada and once selected, based on the points system, will receive thousands of dollars of sponsor product for Free. In addition to Free sponsor product, a mechanic will be provided for Free to support the rider in the Amateur National Qualifying rounds and the Amateur National Championship at Walton in 2010.
To be a Rider of the Nation you must sign up to receive the benefits of sponsorship from some of the top product manufactures in the industry. Earn points through participation and increase the benefits you receive.
Mechanics get Sponsored too!
There are a lot of aspiring mechanics that want to make it to the Pro ranks, well now is your chance. Joint the MXM Nation and using the same points system, promote yourself for sponsor discounts on tools, products and clothing. Raise your profile in the industry by submitting content to help the Riders of the Nation on set up and maintenance of their bikes.
For an annual fee you are entitled to product discounts immediately and as you earn points your discounts get larger and your promotion frequency rises.
Top level sponsorship will earn you a pay cheque from MXM Nation to support our top 2 riders in each district across Canada for the ANQ’s and the Walton TransCan. There is no better way to promote yourself if you want to be a pro mechanic for one of the Factory Teams or top race shops in the country.

The MXM Nation team will be located near the start area at the TransCan so drop by and discuss becoming a Rider of the Nation. An internet connection is provided and you can pre-register for Free until the official launch in October 2009. Sponsors will be announced in October as part of the official launch.
