MXM Nation Walton ANQ/Provincial Photo Report

The 5th and final round of ANQs took place at Walton Raceway this past Sunday. The entire weekend was surrounded by prime riding weather. It was sunny, clear, and hot both Saturday and Sunday for the racing action. The track looked good, and riders were enjoying themselves on the national circuit. The track was less rutty as normal, but still made for great racing all weekend long. Here are a few standouts from the ANQ/Provincial double header:

Nate Hussin #747 was running a couple top 5s.

Carter H impressed me Sunday. He was up front in the Junior class battling for lead positions. Hope to see more of him.

Tyler Rayner #734 looked fresh. He won the 1st moto of Pro/Am and grabbed a 3rd in the 2nd moto. Tyler said his fitness is good, but he’s looking to get rid of some nasty arm pump.

Drew Roberts #60 finally got a good start in one of the Pro/Am motos, but his bike stalled! Drew was super pissed at the time because he had gapped the field and was on his way to a moto win. Better luck next time #60.

Anthony Lunghi #61 surprised me with a moto win in Pro/Am. He is a very strong sand rider, but he came out and killed the 2nd moto! Good to see him out there this weekend.

The only guy in reach of Tyler Rayner #734 was Zeb Dennis #49. They rode this close the entire 1st moto of Pro/Am.

Zeb was only able to finish 1 moto due to a gnarly ankle injury he got before the race day.

Now that the ANQ’s are over, everyone will start preparing for the TransCan. I’ll be there all week taking photos and hanging out! Good luck to everyone this summer! You can catch MXM at the pro rounds when they come around for the East coast. See you at the track!
