MX Mechanics Races hard at Auburn Hillz, April 30, 2006

MX Mechanics Racers outfitted with the latest goggles, sun glasses, hoodies tees and hats from Dragon.This past weekend was a difficult weekend for all racers at Auburn Hillz including the riders of MX Mechanics. All the riders came with high hopes and confidence that it was going to be a great weekend, sporting their Dragon Optical goggles, hats, sun glasses and clothing. This weekend saw a lot of crashing and banging going on resulting in many ambulance rides. MX Mechanics wishes all the best to the riders and there families that were hurt on the weekend.

Ben Toye was once again had the best results on the team this weekend. Ben’s positive attitude and drive gave him strong finishes in the super mini and 80cc 12 – 16 classes. Ben is a top 5 threat every time he goes out on the track. Ben finished 6th and 8th respectively Steven Azarkiewicz rode hard all day long and managed to put his KX 85 in the in the lead of the second Super Mini moto with the hole shot. He finished 18th and 24th. Myles Bartholomew struggled all weekend long but kept plugging away on the rough Auburn track. Myles is looking forward to this upcoming weekend at the first round of the Motovan Provincials.[margin_5b]

Rachael Bartholomew made her debut on in the ladies class on a YZ250f. She finished 25th for the day. Dave Toye and Gary Bartholomew held up the old guy flag for the team in the Vet Jr. and +40 Classes. They both rode great all weekend and kept the kids upbeat throughout the day.

Ryan Gauld had a rough day as well. Ryan is riding better then ever and is a threat in every moto. He led the first moto, then crashed and cracked some ribs, preventing him from racing in the second moto. MX Mechanics will be looking forward to this coming weekend at Gopher Dunes May 6 to 7th.
