LB Graphics and MC Xtreme got you looking like a pro factory rider
Round 3 ANQ – Rat Track Race Report
Paisley, Ontario, May 26 and 27, 2007. Let’s start with the third round ANQ at the Paisley Rat Track. This was a two day event that saw the first day with great weather and a mint track. The second day was another story, we had those typically southern Ontario down pours that wipe out a track in 15 minutes. All the riders gave it their best on the second day in the deep mud and some of the motos in the second half were cancelled since the track was nonnegotiable. That didn’t stop our riders from looking good with their LB Graphics – MX Mechanics front to back decals and their printed jerseys from MC Xtreme. Over the weekend we announced seven winners for a name and number printed on a jersey of their choice and sets of pre-printed numbers for their bikes.
On the race front we were done a few team members due to the Round One Pro National in St. Julie. But the riders that did show give it their best and turned in some good results with 5 top ten finishes.
Some of the notable race results from the team weekend are:
Ben Toye, 5th overall, Supermini and 125 Junior. Ben currently stands 1st overall in the ANQ series in Supermini with one more round to go.
Jason Sims, 4th overall Junior GP and 8th Overall Junior 125
Ken Clark (Head Mechanic), 2st overall Vet Master
Dave Hind (Pro Mechanic) 9th overall Vet Master
The MX Mechanics team would like to thank the crew at the Rat Track for the weekend and trying their best to keep the track in shape to race. We had one and half good days with a mint track to race. And thanks to LB Graphics and MC Xtreme for their participation in the draw.
Round 3 Ontario Provincial Championships – Gopher Dunes
Courtland, Ontario, June 2, 2007. Weather was not a problem this weekend with Saturday hot and sunny for the third round of the Ontario Provincial Championship. This weekend saw the second round of the Pro National on the Sunday, which made for some excellent racing all weekend.
MX Mechanics’ amateurs were out in force on Saturday with only Ben Toye down south competing at the regional Loretta Lynn’s qualifying round. The rest of the team hit that sand and give it their best. Because of the combined venue with the Pro National we saw a reduced race program for the amateurs. Below are the highlights for the day:
See you all at the Rat Track, Paisley for round three of the Ontario Provincial Championships and ANQ.
