Walton, Ontario, August 6, 2006, MX Mechanics is an amateur support race team designed to help amateur racers and their families, giving them a factory-like sponsorship advantage and a competitive edge only associated with professional factory riders. MX Mechanics is pleased to announce it will run a free draw every day at the Walton Transcan starting on the Wednesday August 16 through to Saturday August 19, 2006.
“The support provided by our sponsors this year has been incredible allowing us to market their product through the free draws with over 3,000 entry ballots already this year” states Ryan Gauld, Team Manager and Pro for MX Mechanics. “For the Transcan we will feature a different sponsor each day with a free draw, announcing the winners at the evening’s events and expect over 3,000 entries from this event alone”.

About the Walton Transcan
The Transcan is Canada’s premiere Amateur National Championship motocross event where the top riders from each class across the country come together to compete for the national amateur title. All amateurs have competed in their district in four Amateur Qualifiers and based on the size of each district a number of top finishing riders are selected to compete at the Transcan. In addition to the amateurs who race through the week, the Pro National Series concludes the MX1 Title and the MX2 East – West Shootout on the weekend. This is a national event with press and television coverage, close to 1,000 amateur riders registered and a full line up of the top professional riders.
