MX Mechanics, Machine Racing and LGS Suspension Development report on Round Six of the Ontario Provincial Championships – RJ Motorsports

Barrie, Ontario, July 9, 2006.   It was hot, the track was in the best condition we have ever seen it and the RJ crew worked the whole day to keep it watered, groomed and styling for a whole day of incredible racing.  MX Mechanics announced two winners for the Machine Racing gift certificates and two winners for the LGS Suspension Development gift certificates.  The MX Mechanics race team was out in full force this weekend having fun and racing hard with our Pro racer Ryan Gauld producing a 2nd overall in the 125 Pro Class and a 1-DNF for a 9th overall in the 250 Pro Class.

“Machine Racing and LGS specialize in motocross and know how to set up our teams bikes, whether you are a beginner or pro, these bikes are fast and reliable” states Ryan Gauld, Team Manger and Pro Rider for MX Mechanics.  “With the technology and set up of my suspension from LGS I have the ability to run at the top every weekend and in all track conditions.  We were pleased to offer these gift certificates to our fellow racers, helping them out with the latest in race technology”.

MX Mechanics would like to thank all the participants in the Machine Racing and LGS draw, and would like to announce the winners:

Jeff Brown, won the Machine Racing $50 gift certificate

Claire Long, won the Machine Racing $50 gift certificate

Bradley Mambers, won the 50% off labor from LGS

Ian Kavanaugh, won the 50% off labor from LGS

Now to the MX Mechanics race team, we are still down a few racers due to injury, but the rest of the team was styling all day.  Ben Toye and Myles Bartholomew signed up for 80 cc 12-16, Supermini and Junior 125.  Ben rode consistently in the 80cc and Supermini both days with a 5th and 7th place finish.  Myles rode the 80cc, Supermini and 125 Junior qualifier with a 14th and 18th place finish in the mini classes.  The vet rider’s Dave Toye finished 15th overall in the Plus 40 Class and Gary Bartholomew finished 20th overall in the Vet Jr. Class.

See you all at Port Perry in two weeks and watch for the draw this coming that weekend.

About Machine Racing and LGS Suspension Development

As its name implies, Machine Racing is about “racing” and geared towards the hardcore motocross, enduro, and hare scrambles competitor. That doesn’t mean, however, that Machine’s friendly staff doesn’t welcome the not so hardcore off road enthusiasts – like regular moms and dads who just want to take the kids trail riding. Or first timers looking for a place to get a handle on things like what to buy, where to ride, what to do and not to do, etc. Questions don’t cost a dime at Machine and the answers are always free.

At Machine Racing you’ll always find a solid inventory of new and used dirt bike models. A huge parts inventory is always on hand. You can walk into Machine any time of the year and buy a complete top-end or clutch for any model year YZ or CR. Machine’s knowledgeable, nine, fulltime employees, who are all off road riding enthusiasts, are there to serve you. Even Toni Sharpless – renowned for her success as a 1980s early 90s road racer – rides dirt bikes with the best of them. Sharpless was invited to join the business in 1996 to create and operate an accessory department that’s second to none.

Machine Racing’s renown in-house suspension service, LGS Suspension Development can custom tailor your motocross bike for Motocross, Supercross, Enduro or Harescrambles. Specializing in Showa and Kayaba suspension, you can depend on our professional service.
