MX Mechanics announces the two, styling winners and reports on Round Four of the Ontario Provincial Championships – Wheatley

MX MECHANICS TEAM HAS A GREAT DAY OF RACING AND THE TRACK WAS AWESOME

Wheatley, Ontario, June 18, 2006.  It was a hot and dry day, the track was well watered for the start and the Erie Ramblers worked hard to keep things in great shape throughout the day.  At mid day a 15 minute cloud burst helped get the track right back into sweet shape and the racing was awesome.  The MX Mechanics team was down a few riders due to injury but the boys that showed up, raced hard and finished well in all their motos.  MX Mechanics’ Ryan Gauld put on a great show for the fans battling with Pierce Chamberlain, Trevor Hall and Ken Clark.

MX Mechanics would like to thank LB Graphics and MC Xtreme for offering the free draw this weekend for a set of pre-printed numbers and jersey printing for 2 winners.  This weekend’s winners represent the future of our sport, the young 50cc and 65cc riders that will now look like the pros out there.  The winners are:

Steven Pavelic of Guelph, Age 8, KTM 65 rider, and

Luke Soulliere of Kingsville, Age 4, Luke doesn’t have his CMRC number yet but plans to be on the line for the 2007 season, styling all the way

Congratulations to the winners and a special thank you to all that participated in the draw, we had over 250 entries this weekend.  Keep filling out those ballots each weekend, you never know when you might win.

Now to the MX Mechanics race team, we had four riders this weekend, 3 are out with injuries or just couldn’t make the drive.  Ben Toye and Myles Bartholomew raced 6 motos on Sunday, 80cc 12-16, Supermini and Youth B Class with overall finishes on the day for Ben with 4th (80cc 12-16), 6th (Supermini) and 4th (Youth B).  For Myles he finished 10th (80cc 12-16), 10th (Supermini) and 6th (Youth B).  Great racing boys!

Dave Toye rode the +40 class which was combined with the +25 Class allowing our Vet rider to battle it out with our team Pro Ryan Gauld.  As Dave said, “he jumped over top of me, landed and roasted me, not sure what he was yelling at me as he flew by”.  Dave finished 7th overall for the day.

Ryan Gauld has his +25 winning streak going again with a first overall for the day with 1-1 finished.  His MX Mechanics, Machine Racing, Yamaha Canada 450F was flying out there and got the hole shot in both motos.

In the Pro 125 and 250 Class, Ryan finished second overall in both classes with 2-2 finishes.  Ryan’s MX Mechanics, Machine Racing Yamaha 250F and 450F are decked out with LB Graphics’ numbers and shroud graphics and his jerseys were printed by MC XTreme showing both his name and number along with the sponsor logos on his No Fear jersey.  He looked fast and he was styling with that factory look.

The team had loads of funs at Wheatley and we would like to thank the Erie Ramblers for their hospitality.  We will see all you racers at Sand Dee Lee in a few weeks, come by and check out the draw for that weekend, its going to be awesome.
